SYLVANIA PHENOM™ Off Road Lighting Limited Warranty

Built for the trail. Backed for the long haul. SYLVANIA PHENOM products are engineered for demanding off road use. OSRAM SYLVANIA Inc ("SYLVANIA") warrants the covered products below to the original consumer purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship during the applicable warranty period, subject to the terms, exclusions, and limitations in this statement.

We recommend registering your product within three months of purchase, using our Product Registration Form to help make any future warranty claims quicker and easier. Warranty coverage applies to products purchased from an authorized SYLVANIA PHENOM U.S. dealer. Claims for products from unauthorized dealer may be declined where permitted by law. 

How to Submit a Warranty Claim 

  1. Start by registering your product within 90 days of purchase

  3. Our US-based support team will follow up within 2 business days to find the right replacement and get you back on the trail.

Coverage periods

  • Light pods: Lifetime Limited Warranty*.
  • Brackets, stabilizers, mounting feet, and mounting hardware: Lifetime Limited Warranty. This consolidated category includes Flex Brackets, HD Brackets, LNK Brackets, bar stabilizers, mounting feet, and associated mounting hardware. Damage or defects caused by improper installation are not covered.
  • Wiring harnesses and electrical interconnects: 2-Year Limited Warranty. This consolidated category includes primary wiring harnesses, terminating harnesses, linking harnesses, daisy-chain harnesses, connectors, and other SYLVANIA PHENOM electrical interconnects supplied as accessories. Damage or defects caused by improper installation are not covered.
  • Cosmetic finishes and appearance: 1-Year Limited Warranty for manufacturing defects in powder coating, paint, anodization, and lens appearance. Warranty period start. Coverage begins on the original retail purchase date.
  • * "Lifetime" means for the period the original consumer purchaser owns the covered product and does not mean the lifetime of the vehicle or an unlimited product life. The warranty is not transferable.

What SYLVANIA will do

If SYLVANIA confirms a covered defect, SYLVANIA will, at its option, repair the product, replace it with the same or a reasonably comparable product, or refund the original purchase price. This is the purchaser’s sole and exclusive remedy. 

Cosmetic coverage

During the first year, SYLVANIA covers cosmetic conditions caused by a manufacturing defect. Normal fading, discoloration, surface wear, chips, scratches, abrasion, staining, corrosion caused by road salt or chemicals, impact damage, and appearance changes caused by cleaning products, pressure washing, environmental exposure, or ordinary off-road use are not covered.

What is not covered

  • Normal wear and maintenance.
  • Accident, collision, impact, abuse, misuse, vandalism, racing damage, or neglect.
  • Damage or defects induced by improper installation, including incorrect wiring, reversed polarity, over-voltage, inadequate circuit protection, incompatible components, or failure to follow instructions.
  • Opening a sealed light, seal tampering, unauthorized repair, alteration, modification, or customization.
  • Damage caused by cleaners, solvents, ammonia-based products, road salt, chemicals, fire, flood, lightning, or other external causes.
  • Cost of labor and removal, installation, vehicle downtime, towing, loss of use, or damage to other property.
  • Products purchased from an unauthorized seller, private party, or unauthorized marketplace source.

How to obtain warranty service

  1. Gather information Keep proof of purchase and collect the product/SKU, installation details, and clear photos or video.
  2. Submit a claim Use the SYLVANIA PHENOM online warranty claim form or call Customer Service at 1-888-978-0807.
  3. Assist with diagnosis SYLVANIA may request troubleshooting information, photographs, video, electrical measurements, or return of the product.
  4. Obtain authorization Do not ship or discard the product until SYLVANIA provides instructions.
  5. Resolution If approved, SYLVANIA will provide the approved remedy and instructions.

Limitations and state-law rights

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THE APPLICABLE EXPRESS WARRANTY. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW SUCH LIMITATIONS.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SYLVANIA WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. SYLVANIA’S TOTAL LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW SUCH EXCLUSIONS OR LIMITATIONS.

This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
